Theft, burglary or other crimes in Spain can only be reported to the police in the presence of an interpreter. Since an interpreter is usually not immediately available to the person concerned after a crime, it is possible to report the crime by telephone.
The procedure is as follows:
You dial the phone number 902 102 112 and ask for an interpreter. Low knowledge of Spanish / English is beneficial until connected to the interpreter.
A police-trained interlocutor records the protocol and in Spanish directly on the Internet.
At the end of the protocol, you name the person you are talking to the police station at which you want to receive the protocol.
You will receive a reference number.
The police station of their choice can receive the protocol from the Internet with the reference number. It compares your information, inspects your damage if possible and hands you the certified protocol at the 'zero tariff'. There are no translation costs. Your cost is the telephone cost.
No liability for accidents/damage: - The agency is not liable for any accidents or damage occurring on the property or occur in the surrounding area, including inside and outside the home,
